"음 부드럽다 하지만 별로 독특하지는 않다, 좋지만 술값을 생각하면 결코 좋지는 않다.

전체적인 평으로는 Ballantine's 30 years old을 대신 할수는 있을것이다"

Tasting Notes

Nose: Honey, heather, sweet with hints of apple and gorse flowers
Body: Satin
Taste: Medium-heavy, burst of taste with traces of heather smoke, liquorice and spice

Ballantine's은 일본과 한국을 포함한 아시아 시장의 선두적인 브랜드로서 새로운 위스키를 선보였

습니다.

Ballantine's Limited라는 이 새로운 위스키는 각각의 최적숙성상태의 40여가지의 몰트위스키와

그레인위스키로 한정블랜딩하여 제조하였습니다.

Ballantine's LIMITED는 년수를 표시하지 않은 non-aged premium whisky 제품으로 기존의

Ballantine’s Aged 제품들의 유명새를 이용하여 아시아국적의 여행객들을 대상으로 하여 판촉과

마켓팅을 강화하고 있습니다.

Ballantine's LIMITED는 고급상자로 포장되어있고 각각의 제품마다 번호가 부여되어 있고 Master

Blender인 Robert Hicks의 서명이 들어가 있는 증서가 동봉되어 있습니다.

이 진귀한 위스키는 흔하지 않고 비밀스러운 몰트위스키와 그레인위스키로 조화롭게 블랜딩되어

있으면 이중의 몇가지 원액은 30년이상의 숙성원액도 첨가되어 있습니다.

일년에 한번씩 한정품으로 생산될 예정인 이 위스키는 면세점에서 35세 이상의 100불이상의 구매력

을 가진 여행객들을 타깃으로 마켓팅을 펼치고 있습니다.

Tasting Note :

Nose
Clean. Melba toast.
Palate
Silky. Very sherryish, juicy.
Finish
Sherry trifle, with chocolate. Some balancing dryness.
Comment
Much more sherryish than the colour suggests. Sweet. Sponge fingers. I wouldn't have recognised it as a Ballantine's.

Dave Broom

Nose
Gentle with a hint of light coal smoke/tar, balanced with soft rich fruit (apple/plum/cherry), sultana cake, cream toffee, citrus peel, heather, spice.
Palate
Soft with lovely feel which moves nicely in the mouth. Soft fruit/butter tablet mixed with citrus freshness and smoke drifting in and out.
Finish
Medium. Fruity.
Comment
Subtle and complex. A very gentle giant

The flagship of The Macallan range in the UK market, The Macallan 10 Years Old has become a benchmark

for single malt of the highest quality.

Like all of The Macallan family, the 10 Years Old is matured exclusively in oak sherry casks from Spain to

deliver a deep, rich, deliciously smooth and well-rounded flavour with a slight sweetness and touch of

sherry and wood. Its deep colour, like that of all of its siblings, is achieved wholly naturally without the

addition of any colouring.

Amber gold in the glass, hint of almond on the nose, pears, heather, honey, full of roundness and depth,

exceptionally smooth, a touch of oloroso wood on the palate, hint of peat and a sherry finish.Volume 40%

Palate

Deliciously smooth and well-rounded dried fruit flavour with a touch of sherry sweetness and wood.
