Janneau Grande Fine 1942

Price          :

Size           : 700 ml

Alcohol      : 40 %

Cru (area) : Bas-Armagnac, Tenareze

Janneau Grande Fine 1942는 전통적인 아르마냑의 연속 증류기를 이용하여 증류하였습니다.

풍부한 과일향과 부드러운 맛을 느낄 수 있습니다.

Janneau Grande Fine 1942 Armagnac is matured in Gascon oak casks.

This fantastic Tres Vieille Reserve has been aged for at least fifteen years and possesses

a specatacular array of flavours and subtle nuances.

One of the finest Extra armagnacs available.

A smooth, amber-coloured Armagnac with great character.

Janneau Armagnac

Two very different methods of distillation are, by regulation, allowed for the production of Armagnac:

the more common continuous distillation method in a column still called Simple Chauffe or

Armagnacais; and the more complex and rare method of pot still distillation called Double Chauffe

or Double Distillation.

Janneau reintroduced the Double Distillation in the region in 1972 and for the past 25 years has

been blending brandies made by the Simple Chauffe together with those distilled in Double

Chauffe.

In 1909 President Fallieres signed a Decree delimiting the Armagnac Appelation Controlee Area

which is divided into three regions.

Bas-Armagnac, Tenareze and Haut Armagnac.

Today only Bas-Armagnac and Tenareze produce wines for distillation.

More than 20.000 hectares of vineyards worked with traditional grapes such as Piquepoul and

Folle Blanche to which Colombard and Ugniblanc have been added.

Only white wines produced from these specific grape varieties maybe used for making Armagnac.

Double distilled Grand Armagnac Janneau is similar to the more famous Cognac but distinctive to

its own region of France.

Produced entirely from double distilled eau de vie using the original method of distilling with pot

stills the double distillation range offers the most versatile style of Armagnac from Janneau.

The process produces a lighter body and concentrates the classic fruity flavours, giving our

Armagnac extra smoothness that makes it ideal as an after dinner drink mixed in cocktails or a

perfect drink in its own right when served neat over ice.

Janneau XO - the youngest Armagnac in this blend is a minimum of 12 years old.

Janneau XO Armagnac is matured in Gascon oak casks.

This fantastic XO has been aged for at least twelve years and possesses a specatacular array

of flavours and subtle nuances.

One of the finest XO armagnacs available.
