Bisquit Cognac
Bisquit Cognac은 Alexandre Bisquit가 1819년에 설립한 꼬냑 회사이며, 1965년에 Pernod-Ricard 그룹에
합병되면서 회사 이름이 Renault Bisquit로 바뀌었습니다.
Alexandre Bisquit는 프랑스의 리모쥐 도자기와 리무쟁 오크로 유명한 Limoges 출신으로, Limousin oak casks의
특징을 누구보다 잘 알고 있었기 때문에, 일찍부터 꼬냑의 숙성에 Limousin oak casks를 사용하였습니다.
Bisquit Cognac은 Cognac 지방의 Fins Bois (팽 브와) 지역에 위치한 Chateau de Lignieres (샤또 드 리니에레)
포도농장에서 재배한 포도와 Grande Champagne (그랑드 샹파뉴), Petite Champagne (쁘띠뜨 샹파뉴) 지역의 포도를
사용하여 현대식 대형 증류기로 2회 증류합니다.
증류시에 다른 꼬냑에 비해서 천천히 가열하며, 상대적으로 낮은 알코올 도수를 유지하므로 원료인 포도의 향취를 많이
느낄 수 있습니다.
2. Bisquit Cognac의 종류
1. Bisquit Classique VS :
Fins Bois (팽 브와) 지역에 위치한 Chateau de Lignieres (샤또 드 리니에레) 포도농장에서 재배한 포도로
만든 오드비를 3~5년 숙성
2. Bisquit VSOP Fine Champagne :
Grande Champagne (그랑드 샹파뉴)와 Petite Champagne (쁘띠뜨 샹파뉴) 지역의 Eaux-de-vie를 사용하여
8~10년 정도 숙성
3. Chateau de Lignieres :
Chateau de Lignieres의 Single-Vineyard 포도를 이용하여 10년 숙성
4. Bisquit Prestige :
최소 12년 이상 숙성 시킨 Grande Champagne (그랑드 샹파뉴)산 오드비를 사용하였으며,
일부 오드비는 1878년에 생산한 오드비도 사용하였습니다.
병 모양은 위의 VSOP와 같으며, 등급은 VSOP와 Napoleon의 중간 입니다.
5. Bisquit Napoleon Fine Champagne :
최소 15년 이상 숙성시킨 Grande Champagne (그랑드 샹파뉴)와 Petite Champagne (쁘띠뜨 샹파뉴)
지역의 Eaux-de-vie를 사용
6. Bisquit Napoleon Baccarat Crystal Decanter
최소 15년 이상 숙성시킨 Grande Champagne (그랑드 샹파뉴)와 Petite Champagne (쁘띠뜨 샹파뉴)
지역의 Eaux-de-vie를 사용, 프랑스 바카라 사의 크리스탈 디캔터를 사용
7. Bisquit XO Excellence :
30년~35년 이상 숙성시킨 Grande Champagne (그랑드 샹파뉴)산 오드비를 66% 이상 사용하여
Petite Champagne (쁘띠뜨 샹파뉴) 오드비와 블렌딩한 Fine Champagne 꼬냑입니다.
8. Cohiba Extra Grande Champagne :
40년~50년 이상 숙성시킨 Grande Champagne (그랑드 샹파뉴)산 오드비를 사용한 알코올 도수 43%의
꼬냑으로 Cigar와 잘 어울리게 만든 Cigar Blend 꼬냑입니다.
9. Bisquit Privilege D'Alexandre Bisquit Grande Champagne :
최소 50년 이상 숙성시킨 Grande Champagne (그랑드 샹파뉴)산 오드비를 사용한 꼬냑입니다.
Alexandre Bisquit was just 20 years old when, in 1819, he set up his cognac firm in Jarnac.
He hailed from
so he brought in quantities of it to build his maturation vats.
Soon all his competitors were using the same wood, and today
worldwide for aging wines and spirits.

Bisquit spirit runs off the still at a lower strength than most others, giving it a fuller, "grapier flavor.
Normal range of qualities available, plus occasional 50- and 100- year old bottlings and

In 1965 the firm began to belong to the big industriel group "Pernod-Ricard".
Its head, Paul Ricard, bought the firm, the familiar estate, the vineyards and the castle in the area Fins Bois.
Bisquit Classique VS***
- 3-5 years old. It can be a model of young beverages of the firm.
It has a bitter and sweetish taste, amber colour, with a light fruit and spice aroma.
A classic cognac.
Bisquit VSOP Fine Champagne
- 8-10 years old. A classic cognac of the firm Bisquit.
During a not very long time spent in oak casks the subtle refined drink acquired the flavour of
sweet chocolate and the aroma of fragrant raisins.
