Martell L’Or is the result of the alchemy between gold cognac.
A blend of 'eaux-de-vie' predominantly from the Grande Champagne area, this cognac has a
rare intensity.
Some of the 'eaux de vie' are drawn from “Le Paradis” cellar, and have been aged in oak
barrels for more than 60 years.
Martell L’Or was released in 1992.
It is packaged in an elegant, hand-crafted decanter with gold plated shoulders and closure.
The waves on the decanter are a reminder of the peaceful, undulating cognac vineyards
stretching as far as the eye can see, bathed in sunlight and producing sumptuous grapes
year after year – the promise of rare pleasure.
The refined gift box, designed like a jewel case, is a delicate combination of gold and blue :
the colours of French nobility.
Tasting Notes:
Colour: Deep golden copper.
Nose: Very intense, powerful and complex with hints of blackcurrants
Taste: Full and dense, with rich concentrated flavours, including a hint of hazelnuts.

Martell's History
쟝 마르뗄이 1751년 꼬냑 지방에서 브랜디를 제조하기 시작한 이래 마르뗄가는 8대에 걸쳐 가업을
전승 했습니다.
꼬냑 지방에서는 소규모의 증류 공장이 산재해 있는데 마르뗄은 33개소의 자가 공장을 보유하고
있으며 22개의 증류 공장과 계약을 맺고 있습니다.
세계 최대 규모라 할 수 있는 12개소의 자체 포도원을 소유하고 있으며 그랑드 샹파뉴와 쁘띠뜨
샹파뉴 등 꼬냑 지역의 핵심부 내 2,500여 농가와 계약 재배를 하고 있습니다.
마르뗄의 포도원에서는 폴 블랑쉐, 콜롬바, 위니 블랑 등 브랜디 전용 포도 품종을 재배하는데
모두가 청포도 품종입니다.
마르뗄은 전량 오크 통에서 숙성을 시키며 오크 목재는 5년 이상 자연상태에서 건조 시킨 후 사용
하며, 현재 마르뗄의 원액 보유량만 하더라도 세계 최대인 약 150,000 배럴이라고 알려져 있을 정도로
마르뗄은 명실공히 세계 최대의 꼬냑 회사입니다.
유명한 제품으로는 마르뗄 쓰리스타, 코르동 느와르, 30년 숙성 코르동 블뢰가 있으며, 연간
1,400병만 생산하여 한정 판매하는 60년 숙성 엑스트라의 그윽한 향기는 숙성의 극치를 보여줍니다.
