Famous Grouse 위스키는  스카치 위스키의 본고장인 스코틀랜드에서 가장 인기 있는 위스키 입니다.

 

Famous Grouse Blended Whisky에 사용되는 몰트 위스키의 비율은 35%이며, 핵심몰트위스키는

Highland Park, Tamdhu, Macallan. Glenturret (스코틀랜드에서 가장 오랜 증류소) 등의 몰트 위스키가

사용되었습니다.

나머지 65%의 그레인 위스키는 North British와  Cambus가 사용되었습니다.

 

 

Nose :
Surprisingly powerful. Lovely clean, appetising aromas. Freshly peeled oranges. Dried apricots.
Palate :
Thick-cut marmalade on well-buttered toast. Liquorice. Lots of flavour development in the glass.
Finish :
A hint of burnt toast. A whiff of smoke, from the direction of Orkney.
Comment :
Like the regular Grouse, it tastes maltier and bigger than it really is. An excellent justification of cask strength.
