Ballantine's 12는 부드럽고 복합적인 풍미를 지닌 위스키입니다. 

 

1950년대에 특별히 선정된 40여종 이상의 싱글몰트 위스키와 그레인 위스키를 블렌딩하여 출시한

위스키로, 최소한 12년 이상을 숙성 시켰습니다.

 

세계의 12년산 위스키 중에서 4번째로 인정받고 있으며, 프리미엄 스카치 위스키의 국제 골드 기준이

되어왔습니다.

 

 

A very smooth and complex blend of 44 malts and selected grains matured in oak barrels.  

The distinctive choice within the Deluxe Scotch Whisky Category.

Tasting Note 1 :

 

Light refractive gold in colour. Very long nose with suggestions of sherry & wood.  

Creamy medium body, complex palate with floral honey and oak.  

Very long finish and refreshing with a hint of salt.  

To be enjoyed neat or over ice.

 

 

Tasting Note 2 :

 

Michael Jackson   Nose Honey. Tropical fruits. Burnt currants. Palate Buttercream. Chocolate. Coffee. Finish Rummy for a moment, then lightly soothing. Comment Gold seal is a particularly rich version of Ballantine, but this bottling seems even sweeter and less peaty than I remember. For me, the syrupiness swamps the house character.

Dave Broom   Nose A sulphur/rubber note, mixed with light smokiness unreduced. With water comes a decidedly jaunty, maritime air with lovely soft grain behind. Palate Soft and clean building into a vinous, fino sherry quality. Soft, juicy grain appears mid-palate while smoke wreathes itself about. Good feel. Finish Smoke. Little short. Comment Balances all its elements very well. one to work on.
