Sempe Extra Grand Reserve is a special blend of Armagnacs, some of which are 50 years

old, showcased in a specially commissioned Prism bottle.

 

Pale amber in color with flecks of yellow and green, it has a smooth floral bouquet with a delicate

hint of wood.

 

Very smooth and pleasing on the palate, this Armagnac is wonderfully mature with a good balance

of spirit and fruit.

The packaging, created by renown perfume bottle designer Serge Mansau, features three

sculpted brandy snifters, which intriguingly "disappear" when the Armagnac is poured.

 

The melony, piquant-to-sweet aroma offers many levels of fragrance, the most prominent of which

are caramel, ripe yellow fruit (nectarine, banana) and oak resin.

 

The palate is restrained with no heat or bite, but the midpalate explodes with intense flavors of

toffee, overripe grapes and sauteed mushroom-like rancio.

 

It finishes smoothly, elegant, subtle and slightly orangey.

 

Grande Reserve "Prism" Pale amber in color, with flecks of yellow and green, similar to a 

20-year-old Y'Quem.

 

It has a smooth floral bouquet with a strong hint of wood.

Very smooth and lovely on the palate, its spirited side comes  across in the back of the palate.

It is the kind of armagnac one can roll around one's mouth and savor without any impression of

burning from alcohol.

It is wonderfully matured, extremely smooth with a good balance.

상뻬 아르마냑은 Panjas (판자)에 현대식 증류소를, Aignan (아이낭)에 현대식 숙성 창고를

설립하고, Landes (랑데)에 최신 기술의 병입 공장을 설립하였습니다.

 

상뻬 아르마냑Bas-Armagnac 지역과 Tenareze 지역의 Saint Emilion, Ugni Blanc,

Colombard, Folle Blanche 등의 포도를 사용하여 발효 시킨 후, 연속 증류기로 1회 증류하여

Limousin oak 통속에서 숙성 시킵니다. 

 

 

The Sempe Armagnac founded in 1934, one of the oldest Armagnac estates.

Sempe Armagnac has modern distillation and storage installations in Panjas and Aignan

and a the latest technology at our bottling plant in the Landes.

 

Sempe Armagnac is produced predominantly with grapes grown in the Bas-Armagnac and

Tenareze sub-regions.

 

Sempe is made from select regional varieties, predominantly Saint Emilion along with

Ugni Blanc, Colombard and Folle Blanche.

 

It undergoes a single distillation followed by aging in oak.

 

Sempe is both traditional, distilling its armagnac only once, and innovative, using

Limousin oak for its barrels rather than the local Monlezun.
