Ile de Re는 꼬냑지방의 북서쪽에 위치한 길이 30 km, 폭 5 km의 작은 섬으로, 꼬냑지방의
Bois Ordinaires 속하며, 꼬냑지방에서 생산한 꼬냑을 배로 수출하는 길목에 있습니다.
Camus의 Ile de Re XO는 증류 후, 섬에 있는 숙성창고에서 오랫동안 숙성되면서 습한 바다
공기가 스며들어, 육지에서 생산한 일반 꼬냑과는 다른 독특한 풍미를 지니고 있습니다.

The Ile de Re lies on the traditional shipping route for Camus cognacs heading
towards England, the United States and Asia.
After careful distillation, Cognac Ile de Re XO by Camus is aged for many years in
traditional oak barrels, a process that gently softens the raw spirit without losing any
of its remarkable tangy taste, while the moist sea-air adds a unique character that
distinguishes it from other cognacs produced further inland.
No local fisherman would leave on a voyage to the cold fishing grounds of the North
Atlantic without his prized cognac.
Tasting Notes :
Eye : Deep gold with shades of mahogany.
Nose : Rich and powerful with aromas of gingerbread, tamarind and fern, and with
a hint of tabacco.
Palate : Robust, with a dominance of dried fruits and leather.
Finish : Salty notes with a peppery finish.
