Courvoisier Succession JS.는 1804년 12월 2일 프랑스 나폴레옹 1세의 황제 즉위 200주년을

기념하여, Courvoisier사에 오드비(Eaux-de-vie)를 공급하는 증류소들이 여러세대 동안 숙성

창고에 숨겨두었던  그랑드 샹파뉴 (Grande Champagne) 산 오드비를 사용하여 한정 생산한

꼬냑입니다.

 

술병을 담은 나무 케이스는 나폴레옹 황제가 사용하던 비밀금고를 본따서 만들었습니다.

 

 

 

Succession J.S. is an exclusive limited edition blend, created to mark the bi-centenary of

Napoleon’s crowning as the Emperor of France on 2 December 1804.

 

Shrouded in secrecy for generations, the family of one of our best suppliers in the Grande

Champagne region kept their best reserve hidden in their chateau’s cellar for many years.

 

The great-great granddaughter wished to honour her family’s hard work and their proud

French history by passing on her precious cognacs to help create this masterpiece.

 

Succession JS is presented in a beautifully handcrafted, wooden miniature replica of

Napoleon’s Chest of Secrets.

 

This wooden chest has an elaborate locking mechanism and key with Napolen's initials.

 

It is inlaid with an ebony border and brass trimmings.

 

The lock is surrounded by an octogonal brass plate decorated with Napoleon's symbols and

initials.

A cognac with most exceptional characters.

 

Very rich and complex flavours of old sherry wine, cedar wood, leaf of Havana cigar, creme

brulee, freshly roasted coffee, liquorice and hot honey.

 

A Powerful, complex, mellow, rich and delicate taste.

 

Finish is reminiscent of a hot and velvety fruit cake.
