Chivas Regal, now in the Pernod Ricard portfolio, contains around 40% malt and up to 40 single  

malts, about 4% of that coming from Strathisla single malt.

Martine Nouet Nose Nutty and cakey. Walnut oil. Fresh orange peel. Palate Oily, nearly viscous. Dried apricot. Roasted pinenuts. Candied chestnut. Toffee, mocha! ice cream. Finish Warm, sensuous, so elegantly satisfying. Liquorice and chestnut again. Comment This jewel is bursting with life an joie de vivre, like a bright aromatic rainbow. Want a wee refill?

Dave Broom Nose Lifted and elegant. spicy. Citric. Malty notes along with toffee. Grows in the glass. Complex. Palate Gentle yet broad and mouth-filling with orange peel, balanced oak. A clever, subtle package with a surge of flavour on the finish. Finish Long, oaky, fantastically complex. Comment More lifted than others of this age. Just has the edge in terms of complexity and balance.
